Believe it or not, people have colors. Every single individual is labeled a specific type of season, which includes a spectrum of colors, and with that they are provided a list of colors that would look best on them. For instance, skin comes in different skin base tones of red or green. This is regardless of ethnicity, and it is the combination of this skin tone and hair and eye color that will determine what colors look best on someone. For instance, a green based skin tone, green eyes, and dark hair, and you have a fall color. This means that this person will look good in grays, browns, greens, oranges, and possibly yellows. If this same person had a red based skin tone, they would be a winter and would look best in reds, blacks and whites. If places in fall colors they would tend to look yellow or have a jaundiced look.
Colors are easy to complete for yourself so that you can select what is best for yourself. Take a quick inventory of your skin, hair, and eyes. If you have a green based skin tone you will look awful in yellow based colors like coral, peach, and certain types of pink. You will notice that you look sickly. If your skin tone is on the red tone side you will look horrible in pastels and lighter colors as they will make you look pasty. Now there are always exceptions, and hair and eye color can dictate a lot. These color spectrum’s are completely applicable for darker skin tones like African American, Indian, or Hispanic. The key to remember is that there are two basic shades of tones for skin, and then the other features help to finalize the seasons.
