Spring Style in the City

As the dark chilly skies of winter pass into spring bliss, those heavy layers of clothing are being stripped away piece by piece. Whether you are a bona fide fashion maven or casually classic, injecting a spark of spring style into your look is easy to do.

It doesn’t matter if your go-to style consists of baby phat jeans and a sassy top or a Bohemian dress with espadrilles. Punch up your look with minimal effort in a flash. A simple way to update your look is by switching up two tiny aspects to your style; your hair and makeup.

Spring allows color lovers to play with an array of palates. If you crave bold hues, now is the perfect time to show off lips swiped in reds and corals. With the wide variety of reds available, there is bound to be the perfect shade for you.  Pair your bold lips with toned down neutral eyes so as to not detract from the lips as a focal point.

Liquid eyeliner and eye shadows in metallic or bright shades are also on the list of spring makeup trends. If all that wild color just doesn’t mesh well with your style, fresh glowing skin looks good on everyone, so go with the latest in nudes and neutral tones.

A quick switch in the way you wear your hair can be an easy way to kick start your spring style. There is a look that will suit each person.  If your hair is from medium to long length, style it in a low bun at the nape of your neck. Curly hair in naturally messy waves or sleek shiny straight locks can be switched up with a headband or a low pony tail. For short and sassy, try the spikey look. Whatever you do, make your style your own!
