Shoes are an important aspect to any outfit. However, if you have the wrong pair or a pair that do not go well with your outfit, you might find that they were the worst part of any ensemble. First, when considering a pair of shoes to wear with an outfit, make sure they fit properly. Shoes can add problems to feet that are very uncomfortable. They can worsen the affect of bunions, in grown toenails, and contribute to corns. You will know if this could be the case if you try on a pair of shoes and think that they are only slightly uncomfortable. Slightly uncomfortable at that point means that a few hours worth of wearing could prove to be unbearable. The second aspect is picking out shoes that will go with a number of outfits. This is of course unless the shoes are for a formal occasion and they need to be a special pair.
Choosing a pair that works with many outfits can have a pattern. Choose a pattern that has colors that you tend to wear often, and you will find that you get frequent use out of those shoes. Designers intend for their shoes to be both fashionable and functional, but there are still those that are out for fashion only, which means in order to express your inner fashionista plan on having it accompany blisters. This includes heel height as well. Watch out for those super tall heels that are not platform. The platform front allows for less stress to go on the ball of your foot, and can therefore alleviate much of the pressure from the small bones of the foot. While fashion is the first priority, make sure that you are also protecting your feet.
